HOT FUDGE TOPPING 
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1 c. sugar
1 c. canned milk
2 rounded tbsp. cocoa (or too taste)
Nuts, optional

Mix sugar an cocoa in heavy 3 quart saucepan. Add butter and canned milk. Cook on high heat stirring constantly until topping boils. Continue boiling until the topping bubbles have boiled down and topping is thick. 5 to 10 minutes. Use on ice cream, cakes, even pancakes. Kids love it.
