1 box Velveeta & shells
1 lb. lean ground beef
3 med. onions
1 can Hunts tomato sauce with tomato bits, onion & green pepper
4 slices cheese, your choice
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 stick butter

Prepare box of Velveeta and shells per package, adding 1/2 stick of butter. Brown ground beef and drain. Add 3 medium onions, cook until onion is done. Add Hunts tomato sauce with tomato bits, onion and green pepper. Simmer about 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper.

In greased 1 1/2 quart casserole bowl. Mix Velveeta and shells and ground beef mixture; mix well. Cover with cheese and bake at 350 degrees until cheese starts to brown.
