STUFFED PEPPERS 
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 to 3 tbsp. oil
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. Mrs. Dash (flavor blend)
14-16 oz. can tomatoes, diced
20 oz. tomato juice
2 c. rice, cooked, drained
4-6 green peppers (mangos), cleaned

Saute onion in oil in skillet. Drop in hamburger in small pieces and continue cooking over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add seasonings. When meat has sufficiently cooked add tomatoes and juice. Allow this mixture to simmer approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add rice, stir.

Stuff hamburger mixture into raw green peppers. Wrap well, separately, with aluminum foil. Cook in crock pot or oven until peppers are tender.

Note: If stuffed peppers are to be refrigerated or frozen until final cooking, hamburger mixture should be cold before stuffed into raw peppers.
