TIJUANA TORTE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) can green chili, diced
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
12 corn tortillas
Grated cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef and onion in skillet. Add tomatoes, chilies and seasoning mix. Combine thoroughly and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Place about 1/4 mixture on bottom of 13"x9" baking dish. Place 2 corn tortillas on top. Place meat mixture and grated cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
