TOLL HOUSE CUPCAKES 
1/2 c. soft butter
6 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine first 4 ingredients and beat until very creamy. Beat in egg. Sift together next 3 ingredients and stir into first mixture. Spoon by rounded tablespoons into paper lined 2 1/2 inch cupcake cups. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 3 ingredients, beat until very thick. Stir in next 3 ingredients. Spoon 1 tablespoon over each cupcake. Return to oven. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
