TAMALE PIE 
1/4 to 1/2 c. oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs (beaten)
1 onion (chopped)
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 c. cornmeal
1 (16 oz.) can pitted olives (drained and sliced)

In a large skillet, heat the oil and saute onion at medium-low heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned. Add tomatoes, creamed corn, chili powder and salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Mix meal, cornmeal and eggs; stir into the beef and tomato mixture and fold in the olives. Pour into 1 large or 2 small oiled rectangular baking dishes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Serves 7-8.
