HOMEMADE LUNCHEON MEAT | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. water 1 tbsp. mustard seed 1 tbsp. liquid smoke 2 tbsp. Morton's Tender Quick Salt Combine all ingredients. Mix and knead with hands until well blended. Shape into a 9 inch roll. Seal in heavy aluminum foil. Chill for 24 hours. Remove foil and bake on a rack in a shallow pan for 2 hours at 350 degrees. Cool. (Do not use frozen beef). |
