BANANA NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. pecans
2 eggs
4 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
3 bananas
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs. Mix well. Add crushed bananas, chopped nuts and milk, in which soda has been dissolved. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Fold in vanilla.

Bake in angel food pan at 325°F about an hour or until done.
