TOMATO PICKLES 
20 lg. ripe tomatoes
4 onions
4 apples
2 sweet red peppers
2 sweet green peppers
1 bunch celery
2 c. white vinegar
2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
6 tbsp. flour

Wash vegetables and apples. Chop vegetables, apples and onions fine. Mix with vinegar, sugar and salt. Boil 1 1/2 hours. Mix flour with a little cold water. Add to hot mixture and bring to boil to thicken. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Close immediately to seal. Yield: 13 pints.
