DURBIN PRESERVES | |
3 c. sugar 1 c. crushed pineapple 2 c. fresh apricots (or canned, drained apricots) Chop apricots; if canned apricots are used, be sure that they are well drained. Cook all ingredients in heavy saucepan, being careful not to scorch. After mixture comes to a rapid boil, simmer about 10 minutes or until it thickens somewhat. It will thicken more as it cools. Seal or refrigerate. |
