CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA MUFFINS 
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. white flour
1 c. whole-wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. miniature chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. bananas, mashed (about 3 medium bananas)

Heat oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and butter; beat until creamy. Add bananas, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix just until moist. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into greased muffin tins.

Bake 18 to 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.

Makes 1 dozen.
