BANANA NUT BREAD 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts

In blender, place banana, milk, and eggs and blend to liquify.

In large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugars, shortening, baking powder, salt and soda and the blender mix. Stir in the nuts. Pour batter into a large loaf pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350 degrees. If it browns too quickly, cover with foil sheet.
