GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 
1 gal. green tomatoes
1 head cabbage, a good size head
3 sweet peppers
2 lg. onions
1/2 c. pickling salt
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. horseradish
1 qt. vinegar

Grind vegetables and add salt. Let stand overnight. Drain well. Mix sugar and seasonings and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Add vegetables. Heat to boiling. Pack in jars and seal.
