Linguine with Crab Sauce

This recipe was pretty good, except that I would have added only one package of crab meat, and another pint of half and half. It was very thick and a little too crabby.

For such an easy recipe it was quite good. I only had shell pasta so I used that. I added some fresh spinach and used fat free milk. Delicious.

I used light cream instead of half and half and added much more than the recipe called for, to thin it out. When I put everything in the pan, it was difficult to get out all the lumps, so I ended up putting it all in the blender (after butter was already melted), which gave it a nice fluffy liquid texture. Flavor was good....kept adding garlic until flavor was just right. A hit with the whole fam!
