SELF FROSTING FRUIT IN SEASON
CAKE
 
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
Butter (size of an egg)
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix together and spread in greased pan. Using fruit in season (peaches, apples, berries or cherries), sprinkle over batter. If using large fruit, peel and cut before putting on batter.

TOPPING:

1 c. sugar (use more if fruit is sour)
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Melt butter; then add rest of ingredients. Sprinkle on top of fruit and bake at 350 degrees until done (tested with toothpick).
