BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet morsels
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/3 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

In bowl combine cheese, egg, sugar, and salt; beat until fluffy. Stir in morsels and set aside.

In bowl sift flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Stir in water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Mix only until blended; batter will be lumpy.

Fill cups 1/3 full with this mixture and top with cheese mixture (about 2 tablespoons). Bake in 350 degree oven 20-26 minutes. Serves about 18.
