APPLE DAPPLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. butter
4 eggs
3 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. apples, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1 c. powdered sugar
dash of cinnamon
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. milk

Beat sugar, butter and eggs well. Add flour gradually, beating well. Add vanilla, apples, cinnamon and nuts (if using). Mix ingredients well. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan or any tube pan.

Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325°F. Let cool about 30 minutes, then turn into cake plate.

Mix last 4 ingredients together until smooth and drizzle over warm cake.
