BAR-B-Q ROAST 
1 (3 lb.) roast
3 sm. onions
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Prepare meat with salt and pepper. Brown in hot shortening; add water, tomato sauce and onions. Cover and cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Combine brown sugar, mustard, lemon juice, catsup, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meat. Cover and continue cooking for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
