FRESH VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
4 tbsp. butter
2 c. carrots, sliced
2 c. celery, sliced
2 med. onions, sliced
2 med. green peppers
2 c. mushrooms, sliced
3 c. tomatoes
4 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 tsp. sugar
2 c. fresh green beans

Melt butter. Add carrots, celery and onions. Simmer 20 minutes. Add green peppers and mushrooms. Simmer 30 minutes. Add fresh green beans, tomatoes and seasonings. Heat.

Note: I precook the green beans.
