1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sifted Presto cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. alum

Mix soft butter and butter. Add slowly flour and milk. Beat 3 minutes. Add 2 eggs with flavor. Beat 2 more minutes, scraping the bowl. Make sure everything is mixed. Pour in tube pan. (I grease my pan with butter). Oven at 350 degrees. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. I cut off oven and let it stay in oven 2 more minutes.
