CANNED APPLE PIE FILLING 
To each quart, measure 4 cups sliced apples. Keep them in salt water and drain. Put the 4 cups of slices in a bowl, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

Mix and fill quart jar, fill all the jars the same way. Put on lids and process in hot water bath, 20 minutes.
