2 boxes Ritz Bitz crackers
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. dry roast peanuts
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine crackers and nuts on greased cookie sheet. In saucepan bring butter, sugar and syrup to a boil, cook for 5 minutes. Add vanilla and baking soda. Pour over crackers, stir well and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Pour onto waxed paper, cool and break apart.
