CRACKER PIE (Pecan) | |
20 Ritz or saltine crackers 3/4 c. pecans (chopped) 3 egg whites 1 c. sugar 1/2 pt. whipping cream or Cool Whip or ice cream Crush crackers real fine and add pecans and 1/2 cup sugar. Beat egg whites stiff and add 1/2 cup sugar. Combine these 2 mixtures. Place this mixture in a well buttered pan and bake for 50 minutes at 300 degrees. Chill for 6 hours and put topping on when serving. When doubling it (it will make a 9x13 inch or 2 small foil pies). |
