PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 2/3 c. pretzels, nearly pulverized (not soft or thick pretzels) 1/4 c. sugar 8 tbsp. (1 stick) melted butter 8 oz. softened cream cheese 1 c. sugar 8 oz. Cool Whip 1 lg. box strawberry Jello 2 c. boiling water 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed 1 c. (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix pretzels, 1/4 cup sugar and butter. Spread out in 9x13 inch pan and bake for 10 minutes. Cool. Cream cream cheese and sugar. Beat in Cool Whip. Gently spread over cooled pretzel crust and chill. Add water to Jello. Chill until it begins to thicken. Stir in berries and pineapple. Pour over cheese layer and chill until firm. Serves 10-12. |
