CREAM CORN CASSEROLE 
1 can cream corn
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs - slightly beaten
1/3 cup melted shortening
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup yellow corn meal
1 can diced green chilies
1 1/2 cup grated cheese

Mix all together except cheese. Pour into greased 9 x 9 pan. Sprinkle cheese on top.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until set. I double this for a large crowd.
