My go-to recipe for cheesecake. I've made it for family and friends on several occasions and everyone always loves it!

I made this cheesecake so many times as I just made one. I put on it cherries, strawberries, blueberries, fresh and canned. I already added walnuts but whatever you want to do this is a good cheesecake... I have people ask if I'll make one when they come. I just use a Keebler graham pie crust. Do yourself a favor, its easier!

After reading some reviews, I must say that "This is not a New York cheesecake" recipe (which has a firmer consistency). The consistency of this pie is supposed to be that of "thick pudding". Thank you!!

Family absolutely loved this cheesecake. Said best ever ate. I baked it in a regular cake pan in a hot water bath. Add additional 10 mins.

This recipe was the first one cheese cake I ever made I have been using this recipe for about 7 years now with a few modifications. My father in law didn't like cheesecake until I made this recipe now everytime I make it I have to fight him away from it. I use 2 cups of Graham crackers for more and better crust I double the Butter as well I also melt chocolate and add to it.

I made the cake according to recipe for the first time. I will revise it later, but it was delicious. It took longer to bake then directed but worth the wait. I used a different crust but it worked very well. With a homemade strawberry sauce. To die for!!!!

My family loved this cheesecake. They said that it was not too sweet. They ask for it all the time. My grandson asked for it for his birthday cake. The first time I made it I used a chocolate graham cracker crust. It was awesome.

I only used this cheesecake recipe as a guide, and followed the instructions given, but altered the quantity of the ingredients to make two 10-inch cheesecakes. All I have to say is that it was absolutely delicious. My family loved it and commented on my great cooking skills, as well as my friend. I would definitely use this recipe again. However, I used a small container of sour cream and a tablespoon of lime juice; makes it so much better.

The cherry cheesecake was delicious. My Mom makes the recipe on the back of the Philadelphia Cream Cheese package, and it comes out perfectly every time. This was also my first baked cheesecake, but I've seen a finished product, and knew what to expect. It was a flawless cheesecake, and I'll be making it again sometime.

I haven't tried this recipe, but for Luke:

A finished cheesecake comes clean when you put a knife in the center, should be just browning a tiny bit at the edges. just like a pumpkin pie or the like :)

Cheesecake, especially this one is my favorite dessert! I will keep checking back to see if anyone has entered any other's that sound tasty to me.

This was my first baked cheese cake I ever made so wasn't really sure what to look for when the cheese cake was done. I pride myself in following directions to the tee! The crust came out a bit more toasty than I would've liked, and I think the cheese cake itself could have done without 5 or 10 more minutes of cooking.

Otherwise, the ingredients were very good and it was still tasty! I will probably reduce the cooking time on the crust bake by 5 minutes and I will finish the cheese cake at about 20 minutes at 250°F and see how it turns out. Perhaps add some info on what a finished cheesecake should look like or what you can do to test it. (Brownies have the old "clean toothpick in the center" test. Maybe that?)

Thanks for the recipe!
