CHEDDAR CHOWDER 
2 c. water
2 c. potatoes
1/2 c. carrots
1/2 c. celery
1/4 c. onion
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. diced ham, bacon or wieners

Dice potatoes, carrots, celery and onions. Combine with water and salt and pepper. Cook together for 10-12 minutes.

Make sauce over medium heat with butter, flour and milk. Add grated Cheddar cheese. Combine sauce with vegetables and add desired meat. Heat until bubbly. Serves 6.
