STUFFED FRENCH BREAD 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 loaf Italian or French bread
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar

Brown hamburger and onion. Slice 1 end of loaf of bread and completely dig out inside of the bread, leaving only the shell. Mix all ingredients except egg and inside crumbs. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Add egg and crumbs to meat mixture and heat. Butter inside and outside of the bread shell and stuff meat mixture inside the loaf. Wrap in foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
