CREAM OF WHEAT COOKIES 
1 1/8 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Cream of Wheat
1 tbsp. vanilla
3/4 c. raisins

1. Mix butter and sugar in large bowl.

2. Add eggs; beat well.

3. Add rest of ingredients and mix.

4. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

An interesting alternative to Oatmeal cookies. Cream of wheat is one of my comfort foods. 1 1/8 cups butter is hard to measure tho.
