ALMOND CRUNCH COOKIE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped almonds
6 oz. pkg. almond brickle chips
Sugar for coating cookies

Combine sugar, confectioners' sugar, butter and oil until well blended. Add almond extract and eggs, mix well. In large bowl combine flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt; mix well. Add to sugar mixture, mix at low speed until well blended.

By hand, stir in almonds and brickle chips. Roll dough into balls. Roll balls in sugar and place on cookie sheet and flatten with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 18 minutes.
