DEER MEATBALLS | |
2 lb. ground deer or venison 5 eggs 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp. bread crumbs 1 tsp. sweet basil 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper Shortening Combine all ingredients except shortening; mix well. Shape mixture into balls about 2 inches in diameter. Fry in hot shortening until brown on all sides and well done. Serve with catsup or gravy. |
