MOM'S TEA CAKES 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar, heaping
2 beaten eggs
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cream together remaining ingredients. Add to dry ingredients and 1/3 cup milk. Mix. Roll out onto a floured paper and cut with a cookie cutter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
