I just made these, and I must say..."they are pretty good" of course, not as good as the ones from scratch. But in a pinch, these will do! I used a chocolate cake mix, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup butter, with white vanilla chips. The cookies came out more cake like, which is what I was going for. This recipe is perfect when you don't have a lot of time. Took about 5 minutes to mix and in the oven then went. I will probably make these again.

If you want just a perfect sugar cookie leave off the frosting (my family wouldn't wait for them to cool and frost). So to make them special the next time I made them I used a glass bottom with a starburst pattern and before baking I used colorful sanding sugar for a sparkle effect. They are a favorite in our family and friend circles. Everyone wants the recipe. I call them Funfetti Star-Burst Cookies. Enjoy
