HOT SUPPER SANDWICH 
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
2 c. onions (chopped)
2 c. biscuit mix
2 tsp. poppy seed
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten

TOPPING:

1 c. dairy sour cream
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Saute sausage; remove from skillet with slotted spoon; set aside. Saute onions in drippings until glossy, but not brown; drain. Add onions to meat.

Combine biscuit mix and poppy seed. Add milk and egg; beat about 30 seconds. Spread batter in greased 8 or 9 inch square pan. Top with sausage and onion mixture. Bake 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine topping mixture; spread over sausage. Bake 10 minutes longer. Sprinkle top with paprika. Cut in squares and serve hot.
