GRILLED DOVES 
12 whole cleaned coves (allow 2-3 birds per person)
1 stick butter
3/4 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients and stir until blended. Add birds and marinate 30-45 minutes. Cook on grill over low heat, turning frequently. Baste birds with mixture each time they are turned. Allow 25-30 minutes to cook. Extra marinade mixture can be served with birds.

NOTE: This is an excellent marinade for grilling venison, chops, also.
