GERMAN CHOCOLATE OATMEAL CAKE 
Mix:

1 c. quick cook oats
1/2 stick butter
1/2 pkg. German chocolate
1 1/4 c. boiling water

Cool 20 minutes.

Add:

1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

FROSTING FOR GERMAN CHOCOLATE OATMEAL CAKE:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. canned milk

Bring to boil.

Add:

1/2 c. coconut
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread over cake and broil until it bubbles.
