QUICK AND EASY BREAD PUDDING 
5-6 slices bread, any type (bran is great)
1 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. raisins
2 tbsp. butter

Beat together milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and raisins by hand or mixer. Pour over bread. When bread is completely saturated with mixture. Mix and break up bread with fork until bread and mixture are well blended together. Grease pan with the butter and pour in mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Don't throw away your stale bread. It's great for this recipe. Waste not, want not!
