DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR USE METAL SPOON FOR MIXING DAY 1: Do nothing. DAY 2-3-4: Stir with wooden spoon each day. DAY 5: 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk Stir with wooden spoon. DAY 6-7-8-9: Stir with wooden spoon each day. DAY 10: Add: 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk Stir with wooden spoon. Pour 1 cup batter into 3 different containers. These are starters for new batches. Keep one for yourself and give the other to friends. Each container will have 1 cup batter to start new batch. Use balance of batter to make bread. Add to batter: 1 c. oil 2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. nuts, chopped 1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding 1 c. dates or raisins, chopped Mix well with wooden spoon. Pour into 3 well greased loaf pans. Sprinkle top with brown sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Test with toothpick. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pans. Can be frozen.
