AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. starter
2/3 c. vegetable oil
3 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 to 2 c. optional ingredients: nuts, dates, dried fruits, apple, bananas, zucchini, carrots or chocolate chips

Making the bread: Combine dry ingredients. Add starter, oil, eggs, vanilla and any combination of 1 to 2 cups. Optional ingredients. Mix well. Bake in two well greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes.

Hints: Allow starter to come to room temperature and become bubbly before using. Starter may be frozen. To keep starter going store in refrigerator and "feed it" following the 10 day cycle. If you're getting too much cut one feeding in half. But don't let starter drop below 1 cup.
