STEW PEAS 
2 lbs. beef cubes
1/4 lb. ham hocks
1 can kidney beans
1 sm. onion
1 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1 c. flour

Brown beef cubes with your desired seasonings. Add ham hocks and cook for 1 hour then add salt (optional). Cook until tender.

For dumplings, just mix flour with water. Drop in with spoon. Serves 5.
