OATMEAL ROUNDS 
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. oatmeal
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla together. Blend in rest of ingredients. Chill 4 to 5 hours.

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, place on ungreased sheets. Flatten with greased bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake 10 minutes.
