APPLE CRUMB PIE 
4 lg. tart apples (Granny greens are good)
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. softened butter
1 (8 inch) pie plate with unbaked crust

Pare apples. Cut in eighths and arrange in pie pan on unbaked crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over apples. Mix sugar and flour together. Cut in butter. Mix. Spread evenly over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.
