TURKEY CHOW MEIN 
1 green pepper
1 c. celery, sliced
2 tbsp. butter
1 3/4 c. chicken broth
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 env. onion soup mix
2 - 3 c. turkey or chicken, diced
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
1 (1 lb.) can bean sprouts
1 pkg. chow mein noodles

Cut peppers in thin strips; cook with sliced celery in butter for 2 minutes; add chicken broth. Blend cornstarch with cold water and soy sauce; gradually stir into the broth. Add onion soup mix. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add turkey or chicken, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and bean sprouts; heat. Serve with chow mein noodles. Makes 6 servings.
