FUNNEL CAKE 
1 1/3 c. self rising flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk

Mix all of the above. Put 3 to 4 inches of oil in small, round 2 quart pan. Heat oil to 300 degrees to 325 degrees. You may need to add just a little more milk to make it look like thin mix.

One half cup mix makes 1 funnel cake. Pour through funnel into hot oil. Swirl around pan to cover top of cake with oil. Let brown, then flip over and brown other side. Remove from pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon and sugar.
