FUNNEL CAKES 
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder

Pour about 2 inches of oil in heavy fry pan. Swirl about 1/2 cup batter through a funnel into heated oil.

Fry until golden, turning once. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle well with powdered sugar. Serve at once.
