HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS 
1 can pineapple chunks
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
2 slices fresh bread, crumbled
2 tbsp. minced onions
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. cloves
2 tbsp. pineapple syrup

SAUCE:

1/3 c. pineapple syrup
1/2 c. catsup
1/3 c. brown sugar

Mix together beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion, salt, allspice, cloves, and 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup. Mold small amount of meat mixture around each pineapple chunk. Place meatballs in a baking dish. Cover with wax paper and place in microwave oven for 4 minutes. (Conventional oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.) Pour off meat juices. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Continue cooking for 3-5 minutes in microwave or (oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes).

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
