CHERRY AND NUT FUDGE 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 cup evaporated milk
6 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 cup diced and drained Maraschino cherries
1 cup chopped pecans

Mix chocolate pieces and milk in 3-quart saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate has melted completely.

Remove from heat and add confectioners' sugar, about a cup at a time. Add cherries and nuts.

Note: This mixture will be thick.

Spread in 9x9-inch pan and refrigerate. Chill about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until firm enough to cut.

Cut; put on plate and put in freezer until time to serve.

Makes 3 dozen.
