1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. butter
1 can (16 oz.) beets, drained

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, pepper, butter and orange juice in a microwave bowl. Add beets. Stir and cover. Microwave 4-5 minutes. Sauce will thicken.
