SWEET AND SOUR STEAK 
4 beef cubed steaks
3 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c.ketchup
1/4 c. water

Dredge steak in flour, brown with chopped onion in shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook slowly until steaks are fork tender, about 20 minutes. Serve with fluffy rice or noodles.
