PLUM PUDDING 
1 pkg. raisins
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. molasses (syrup)
3 eggs
3 to 4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour milk

Boil 3 hours in bubbling water double boiler.
